Aakash Adhikari is well-liked Nepali film director. Born in 2028 BS, to father Min Bahadur and mother Hirakumari, Adhikari has completed his bachelor’s degree in sociology, and diploma in filmmaking from Madhumati Institute in Mumbai.   

At the age of 24, he worked as an assistant director in Hindi TV serial “Filmoniya”, and debuted as a director in “Ranabhoomi”. “Ranabhoomi” is an acclaimed movie that achieved him a national award for the best director. “Panchhi”, “Daag”, “Ko Aafno Ko Birano”, “Ukali Orali”, “Krodh”, “Kathmandu” and “Kohinoor” are among the popular movies directed by Adhikari. 

Adhikari was awarded by All India Radio for his critically acclaimed TV series “Aafnai Janmabhoomi”. His “The Sky Movies” and the subject matter of to—be worldwide released “Suryodaya” is registered in Hollywood. Adhikari says he is passionate about promoting Nepali arts, culture and cinema across the all frontiers.
