Lawa Pyakurel is a film editor and documentary filmmaker based in Nepal. He is a National Film Award winner, having received the award for Best Documentary Film Editor in the non-fiction category in 2013 for his work on the documentary "Nijamati: Under Fire." Pyakurel has also received recognition for his work as a filmmaker, including a special award for documentary film in the same year.
